The medic is a money role

WARDOGS pays for keeping the squad alive. The Medic XP track is fed by revives and heals and unlocks the medkit and defibrillator, but the cash arrives immediately, per action, not at the unlock. A good medic is not just a helper — they are one of the steadiest income sources in the game.

What the medic-facing actions pay

These rates come from the test-period figures in the verified brief. They are single source, so we state them as such rather than presenting them as settled.

Action Verified payout Source note
Recon mark $100 each Single source
Bandage heal ~$200 each Test-period figure
Revive ~$900 each Test-period figure
Kill assist (Control Zone) $800 Single source
Kill assist (Hot Zone) $1,600 Single source, doubled
Build completion $1,200–$1,500 Test-period figure
Effective hammer hit (build) ~$15 each Test-period figure

The revive at ~$900 sits near the top of the per-action table, which is why a medic who survives the match out-earns a fragger who keeps dying. Pair revives with marks at $100 each and the income stacks fast.

The Medic track in practice

Reviving and healing feed the Medic track, which opens the medkit and defibrillator. Remember the golden rule from the progression page: XP unlocks eligibility, cash buys the item. The medkit is something you still purchase at the vendor once the track lets you. The free firing range lets you trial it without risk before you commit cash.

When NOT to revive

Reviving pays, but a dead medic earns nothing. Run this safety checklist before you break cover:

  • Is the area actually clear, or just quiet for a second? Wait for real confirmation.
  • Are you the last standing on your side of the zone? Reviving then dying loses both lives’ gear.
  • Is the downed teammate in the open with no cover to drag them to? Skip and reposition.
  • Are three teams converging on the spot? The revive is not worth a triple-team death.
  • Do you have the medkit, or only bandages at $200 a heal? Bandaging under fire is a slow, exposed job.
  • Is the match about to end? A revive that finishes after the clock pays nothing.

The settlement multipliers

Two end-of-match effects lift medic income further. Surviving to the end refunds about 90 percent of your carried gear value, so a medic who stays alive keeps most of their kit for the next life. The winning team also takes an extra +30 percent on the match’s earnings — and medics are usually on the winning side because they keep that side alive.

Clean-play note

The 12 September 2026 BULKHEAD policy shields fair play and punishes abuse: deliberate cash-bug use and organised XP farming can be reset or banned. Normal revives and heals are exactly the income it protects — just do not stack them through a bug to inflate the payout.

Server population and your medic income

The payout curve scales with how full the server is, and medics feel it directly. Per the brief, a server of about 10 players pays almost nothing, a server near 45 players pays roughly 80 percent of the rate, and 60 or more players pays the full amount. A medic grinding revives on a thin server is leaving most of the roughly $900-per-revive value on the table. Favour populated servers when you want to maximise the medic line, and treat a quiet server as a place to practice the safety checklist rather than to farm income.

Training the medic loadout safely

The free firing range lets you use the medkit and defibrillator — once the Medic track unlocks them — with no risk and no spend. Per the brief, the range opens every weapon, attachment, and vehicle, so you can learn the revive-and-heal rhythm before you commit cash to a medic kit in a live match. Pair that practice with the safety checklist above: the range teaches the motion, but only a live match teaches when not to take the revive.

Where to take this

For the other half of the support income, the transport and logistics page covers the verified transport payouts. To rank revives against every other verified rate, the make money fast guide lays them out by risk. And to kit yourself as a medic without blowing the $10,000 start, the starter loadout page sets the buy order.
